Friendly, helpful staff, modern clean room with all the standard amenities. A great bar and restaurant. Very good breakfasts with the option of either buffet or off the menu. In close proximity to a number of museums including the main reason for my visit, The National Civil War Museum which is well worth a visit. The city also boasts some fantastic architecture and a walk around the city provides some excellent photo opportunities.

My kids really enjoyed the atmosphere, calling it a “classic” hotel. Our beds were comfortable and a good size for our family of 4. Our room was quiet, I didn’t hear much of the other guests in the halls or above us the entire stay. We walked to the beltway, along the river, and also to dinner. Sunday morning valet at 0645 was on it—they had our vehicle out within 5min!

The staff. I was checked in by Annasimon who was amazing! She checked me in, made suggestions for dinner, and called my room about 10 minutes after I went up to make sure everything was ok. When I returned from dinner she greeted me by name and chatted with me about my day. As a solo traveler it was nice to know someone was looking out for me. She went above and beyond. The gentleman at the valet service was really kind and efficient as well. Personable. I stay in a lot of hotels but rarely have staff members who show an interest in people beyond get them in and get them out. Everyone I encountered genuinely seemed to like working with the public. That’s rather rare today. The hotel is in a great location but the people are what made it extra special.

I honestly dont understand what people are looking for when checking into a hotel like this and giving it a bad review. The hotel was clean, smelled great, had comfortable beds large spacious rooms, a pool for us to enjoy, great employees, and was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see at a phenomenal price.

The gift bag at check in was nice! Very nice bathroom. One of the better bathrooms I have used in any 3 star Hotel. Bed was comfy and a nice king sized bed. TV worked! Room was properly stocked with everything you need. Even had bathroom pump soap!

I believe the gentleman who checked me in was named Dave. Him and his manager were most kind. He upgraded me to a king city view room and comped my bottle of water. The checkout staff was very kind as well. They offered my a free drink for the road. Every staff member I encountered was very kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond at every interaction.

During check in the woman behind the desk was very friendly! The bed was very comfortable. I liked that there were large bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. And during check out, even though the man at valet could not find my car … which wasn’t his fault because the people who parked it the night before wrote it down as the wrong type and color vehicle, parked it somewhere they don’t normally park cars and left the key in it … he was very helpful and apologetic.

Amazing staff. Located across the street from UPMC Harrisburg Pa. Our 2 month old grandson was in NICU intensive care with RSV. We stayed for days. Along with our grandsons paternal grandparents. They even allowed us to check in early. Gave our babies a cereal bowl. Did not tell our small grandchildren no about anything. They were empathetic and generous when they didn't have to be. We appreciate this hotel beyond words.

Friendly front desk gave good recommendations. Walking distance to train station, museums, and plenty of restaurants. The pool was warm and we had it to ourselves. I would stay again on our next overnight to harrisburg

Bed was very comfortable, location is excellent in downtown Harrisburg. I was busy with a conference, so I only used the room for in and out.
